Jakob’s Basler Leckerly and the Lällekönig are both true Basel originals. One was once attached to the Rheintor, greeting newcomers from Kleinbasel by rolling his eyes and sticking out his tongue; the other has been baked since 1753. I gave the famous character a new face. A clever mechanism lets him roll his eyes and stick out his tongue, just like the real Lällekönig once did.

The tin won the Swiss Packaging Award in 2020.
