The Lällekönig is a true Basel original. Back in the day, he was attached to the Rheintor, greeting newcomers from Kleinbasel by rolling his eyes and sticking out his tongue.
Jakob’s Basler Leckerly is a Basel classic as well. They’ve been in Basel since 1753. I gave the famous character a new face. A clever mechanism lets him roll his eyes and stick out his tongue, just like the real Lällekönig once did.
The tin won the Swiss Packaging Award in 2020.
